After winning an auction, you will have 2 days to pay for it by completing the checkout process. If payment is not received within this 2 day deadline, the auction sale will be cancelled and you will receive an Unpaid Auction Strike.

  • The first time you receive an Unpaid Auction Strike, your bidding privileges will be revoked until you pay a $50 penalty fee.
  • The second time you receive an Unpaid Auction Strike, your bidding privileges will be revoked until you pay a $100 penalty fee.
  • The third time, your bidding privileges will be permanently revoked.

When auctions are cancelled, it hurts everyone on the marketplace. Sellers are less likely to list their best inventory on BlueLots, and buyers lose access to great inventory. We don't want to take anyone's bidding privileges away, but our job is to ensure the integrity of the marketplace for all buyer and sellers.

If you have an extenuating circumstance preventing you from paying for an auction, send an email to support@bluelots.com and we may be able to extend the payment deadline up to 1 day for you (on a discretionary basis).
